Beauty Buy: belif

belif: True Cream $38, Eye Bomb $48

It's about 19 degrees in NYC today & I'm freezing! I commute to work from New Jersey & spend a decent amount of time outside - walking to bus, waiting for bus, walking from bus station to work & vise versa. My skin braves all the elements & I do my best to keep it hydrated & happy.

I am a skin care fanatic. Seriously. Mention a product & I've probably tried it. I love eye creams & believe that keeping the delicate skin around your eye happy at all times will keep you looking young, awake & fresh for as long as humanly possible. I've always been an advocate for Fresh's Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream - it feels nice & smells like beautiful roses. So when I was asked to try the belif's eye bomb via Influenster, I was pretty doubtful it would be better than my holy grail. Boy was I wrong...

Belif's eye cream has a thicker texture than Fresh's, & while it does not smell like roses, it leaves my eyes hydrated & happy all day long. I've been using it for two weeks straight (applying every morning & every evening - after cleansing + toning) & here's what I've found:

  1. My fine lines decreased significantly
  2. I no longer have dry patches on the inside corner of my eyes (every eye look's demise...)
  3. It serves as a great primer - just let it fully dry before applying concealer
  4. I look more awake & youthful no matter what the temperature is

I highly recommend this product & it will now be my holy grail until I find the next best thing! I also tested the smaller sample of True Cream - it is very hydrating & I've been using it to prime my face on colder days before applying my makeup. If you are in the market for a new moisturizer, I would recommend this product as well! (true belifer right here... get it??)

What are some of your holy grail skin products for colder temps?
I'd love to hear about them in the comments!

* I received these product complimentary via Influenster - all thoughts are my own
