I haven't been a big maxi-dress-lover lately-- I know, I know, how could one even say those words?! But being a fashion blogger (or fashionista) is all about versatility & getting the most bang for your buck. I've always been a maxi-fanatic simply because they are so irresistibly comfortable but fact of the matter is that once you wear a maxi, there's really no way to drastically change the look. Adding accessories might work but the less accessories the better when sporting a lot of fabric in summer heat. But that doesn't mean you wont be seeing me in any! I sported this dress to Mother's Day last weekend in NJ & it was the perfect lazy Sunday attire without looking the part. What ways do you wear your maxi? And to all my maxi lovers out there, be sure to check back tomorrow as I show off one of my fave Michael Kors dresses! xxFTF

  1. Gorgeous dress - that colour is stunning on you! It looks like it's really soft, too.

  2. I agree, it is hard to change the look of a maxi. I can relate with you on not wanting to buy too many of them.Especially, being a fashion blogger we want to express ourselves with versatile looks. I will say that maxis are comfortable and will always be in style for every spring and summer. Great post! You look great in your pics and I love the neck line on your dress.
